Cabrera House

The house in Cabrera is located on a sloping plot, which poses both challenges and opportunities in its design. The project contemplates the comprehensive reform of the existing house, respecting the original structure, completely transforming the interior. A new volume is also incorporated that provides modernity and functionality.

This volume is placed in a staggered manner, both with respect to the façade and in terms of height, allowing for a better adaptation to the surrounding landscape. The staggering not only facilitates harmonious integration with the terrain, but it also prevents the building from being perceived as imposing or generating a sense of oppression. Thus, a balance is achieved between the building and its natural environment, creating a more open and fluid space.
